Sa Tenda began as a cupboard in our Palma office — the oil, salt and linen we replace in every house each season. Owners kept asking where it came from, so we opened it to everyone. Small makers, short runs, nothing we would not leave on a kitchen counter.
A tannery in Inca, a weaver in Pollença, a potter in Felanitx, a salt cooperative in Ses Salines. We buy what they can make, and when it is gone we wait for the next batch.
